Here at Beautiful Savior, we firmly believe in the Biblical truth that life
should not be done alone. For that reason, a variety of small group options are offered
to meet you where you are and connect you with others.
9:45 a.m. Sunday Morning Groups (beginning September 11)
The book of Revelation can leave people with questions
and uncertainty. Come Grow on Sunday mornings
and walk and talk through how the book actually leaves us
with answers and certainty on the journey through life!
Led by Pastor Joe.
The study of Christian apologetics
strengthens Christians through the
discovery that our faith fits the facts of our
experience, including our understanding
of those facts through our reason. It also
reaches the non-Christian by removing
intellectual barriers to belief and thus opening the heart to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
To paraphrase G.K. Chesterton, “You are free in our time to say that God does not exist. You are free to say that He does exist, but is evil. You are free to say that He would like
to exist if He could. And nobody protests. But, if you speak of God like a real thing as a tiger,
as a reason for changing one’s conduct, then the modern world will stop you somehow if it can.”
Don’t let it. Join us for an introduction to and a study of Christian apologetics and meet the Tiger.
Led by Dana Strandmo.
The Parenting Group
Looking to connect with other parents? Interested in digging deeper into the weekly sermon
and how it applies to you and your children’s busy lives? Come join us for a discussion
on that week’s sermon and building community with other Christian parents.
Led by Dan and Kelly Roehl.
Tuesday Morning Women’s Group - Be Still and Know
9:30 a.m. Tuesdays in Resource Center (Room 110), beginning September 13
When our Lord says, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10),
what does He mean? God's Word promises that in whatever kind of storm
we find ourselves in, Jesus always comes to us. In Be Still and Know,
unpack the promises found in Psalm 46 that are fulfilled in Christ.
Led by Nancy Broge.
Pastor Tom's Bible Study
10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesdays in Resource Center (Room 110) - ongoing class
Class is livestreamed at 10 a.m. on https://www.youtube.com/c/bslcplymouth.
Each week this group dives deeper into the sermon text from the previous Sunday. All are invited to join us in this lively discussion and see how Scripture relates to our lives today! Led by Pastor Tom.
The Chosen – video series
6:30-8 p.m. Wednesdays in Room 120/121, beginning September 14
Come and see what the disciples saw. You are invited to watch and
discuss the first-ever multi-season series about the life of Christ! This
is a powerful and very well-produced recounting of Jesus and His disciples.
Led by Jim and Marianne Covington.
Millennial Bible Study
Twice a month at 7 p.m. Wednesdays in Room 128/129
Study scripture, socialize, and serve with Millennial Bible Study!
The group meets twice a month to dive into a book of the Bible and
walk through life together. Past social events have included visiting
breweries, sporting events, and holiday parties. The members also
plan service events within the church and in the community.
Thursday Morning Men’s Group
6:30 a.m. Thursdays in the Resource Center (Room 110) - ongoing class
Think The BIBLE does not relate to today? You are invited
to join this men’s group. Take a dive deep into The BIBLE
and explore what it “says.” You’ll be surprised to find that
the problems mankind faces today were experienced
before, during, and after the life of our savior Jesus Christ.
The group is currently studying the book of Job.
Sessions are in-person or remotely on Zoom.
If you are interested in learning more about groups, please
contact Jennifer Gross, Adult Connections Minister, and she will help you get connected!
