Our desire is to join Jesus on His mission. This means actively seeking out ways to volunteer & donate to our neighbors with the same love that Christ has shown to us. We have many opportunities to volunteer & donate whether it’s in your own neighborhood, in our city, in our nation and even the world!

Volunteer & Donate Opportunities

Worship Volunteers Needed

  • 11am Worship:  Altar team members needed to serve the first Sunday of each month. Duties:  Oversee communion needs and help with clean-up/put communionware away

College Care Packages

  • If you have a college student we could bless with a care package, please send their address information/dietary restrictions to aniemann@beautifulsaviorlc.org.
  • Want to donate care package items? Please place individually packaged snacks, fruit cups, granola bars, or small toiletry items in the bin by Amy’s office (Rm. 125) by Sat., Sept. 29.

Mission Canning Sale | Next Weekend

  • Sept. 29/30:Purchase treats in the Gathering Space. All proceeds go toward Beautiful Savior Missions.

Youth Mission Trip Fundraiser | Mon., Sept. 24

  • Mon., Sept. 24, 4:30-8:30pm at Culver’s in Plymouth (Hwy. 55 & Peony Lane)
  • Enjoy dinner while supporting our senior high youth as they raise funds for their summer trips!

Cleaning Supply Drive | Due Sun., Sept. 30

  • For the month of Sept., we’ll be collecting cleaning supplies for PRISM and Eagle’s Healing Nest, a non-profit organization meeting the needs of veterans. List of donations is available here or in the Gathering Space. Bring donations to church by Sunday, Sept. 30.

Share Meals to Encourage Others!

  • Did your mom just get home from the hospital? Do you have a cousin who recently had a baby? Is your friend busy and has no time or energy to cook? Encourage them with a delicious, free meal located in the freezer next to heBREWS “…so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans 15:13)

Child Development Center | Substitute Teachers

  • We are looking for substitute teachers for 2018-2019 school year. Let us know if you are interested!


Nursery Worker & Volunteer

  • The Nursery team is in need of a worker for Thursday nights during the school year. We’re also compiling a list of “on call” volunteers to help with childcare needs throughout the year. If you love children and are interested, please contact Sarah.


Usher volunteers needed

  • Needed for all three services, but especially Saturdays @ 5pm and Sundays @ 11am; this is a once-every-six-weeks commitment. Men, women, families, and high school students are welcome to serve; training provided.


Serve Our Homebound Members

  • There are many ways for you to provide care and encouragement to someone in our church family: provide rides to worship, appointments, shopping, etc., visit and spend time together, share your unique skills or interests with them.


Kids & Student Ministry – Leaders Needed

  • Kids: Leaders needed September 9-May 19 to guide small groups of kids through lessons on Sunday mornings. Lessons and supplies are provided and ready for you each Sunday. Come join our team and the fun! Training begins Wednesday, August 22, Brenda Meyer.
  • Students: Would you like to serve with our teens/preteens during the school year? There are many opportunities available on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and at various retreats throughout the year. Amy Niemann, 612.481.6183.


2018 Altar FLOWERs

      • You can sign up for altar flowers in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a special occasion at: beautifulsaviorlc.org/donations Please make your check payable to Beautiful Savior, noting “altar flowers” on the memo line (suggested donation of $40). Checks can be placed in the offering plate, in Kim Pieper’s mailbox at the church office, or given directly to Kim. Flowers can be taken home after the 11am service if you’d like.
