Generosity in Every Season

Stewardship Series: Generosity in Every Season

Message from Pastor Tom
Dear People of Beautiful Savior,

As this “year unlike any other,” also known as 2020, draws to a close, it is good to reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2021. From everything we have learned in 2020, it is appropriate to expect that 2021 will continue to provide challenges and opportunities to us as individuals and also to us as a church.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity in giving throughout 2020. Your generosity has made the purpose of connecting people with God’s love and helping them live as committed followers of Christ, and the pathway of Worship. Grow. Make a Difference., come alive through new and different methods than we have employed previously. Your generosity and support has also allowed us and encouraged us to be flexible in our ability to respond to the continuous changes which 2020 has brought.

Through it all, our changeless Lord continues to bless us with His grace and sustaining presence in Word and Sacrament. I invite you to join with your fellow members in continuing to grow in generosity with your tithes and offerings. Please read through this stewardship information carefully and prayerfully consider how you will generously support your church during 2021. Thanks in advance for your pledges which will help us plan our budget for 2021, and for your generosity in giving which will allow us to Worship. Grow. Make a Difference. in the lives of others together.

Remember … It’s a great time to be the church of our Lord Jesus Christ! It’s an honor to serve our Lord with you!

When You Give to God through Beautiful Savior You:

Support a Christian ministry that is actively and intentionally living out the purpose of connecting people with God’s love and helping them live as committed followers of Christ.

Cheerfully participate in making an eternal difference in other’s lives locally, and with our mission partners in the greater Twin Cities area, in our nation, and throughout the world.

Help us continue to expand our online ministries and build on the progress which we have made in this area.

Enable us to welcome many different people to join us on the discipleship pathway of worship, grow, and make a difference, and to be comforted with the Word of our Lord in times of trouble, and to rejoice in the Lord always.

Biblical Encouragement for Giving

“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” “He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.”

– 2 Corinthians 9:6-11 ESV
