Welcome to September, Beautiful Savior!

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church ENews

Around here, September is a month of new beginnings, and I invite you to join me as we re-start various areas of ministry like Sunday School, Faith Basics, Parish Choir, and much more.

This will also be a month in which we begin a sermon series that will take us through the  book of 1st Peter. Beginning September 14/15 and continuing through October 19/20, this book of Scripture will help us begin to understand (or re-understand) the importance of the Church and our participation in it as we live in a society that is opposed to the Triune God Who reveals Himself in Christ. Pastor Joe and I are looking forward to growing together with you as we focus on this book from the New Testament that has much to say both to our current culture and to our life in this culture.

Not only will we be preaching through this book, but also teaching it and discussing it with you as we engage in Bible study and discussion in the Resource Center each Sunday at 9:45am. The overall theme for this series will be The Gift of Life Together because that is what Beautiful Savior is–a gift from God to each of us and all of us!

God bless you richly in Christ this September. It will be a good month to worship,  grow, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Pastor Tom Stoebig
